AGROBOT Project

Automation of Agriculture

The first commercial appearance of UAVs is expected precisely in the field of agriculture. Thanks to robotic technology, farms will be able to significantly increase their profitability. At the moment, for example, the combine works on average six hours a day, and idle for the rest of the time. Unmanned tractors and combines work in the field 24 hours a day. The conditions of poor visibility do not interfere with them, do not be confused by rain or fog, and even at night the unmanned tractor can also effectively handle, mow, harvest, as well as during the day.

Benefits

The project «AgroBot» is a system of autopilot agricultural equipment. This solution allows you to automate a significant part of field work, make them faster and more accurate, eliminating the human factor. operates 24/7, which increases the efficiency of the use of agricultural equipment; reduces the costs of farmers and agroholdings for fuel; optimizes the cost of maintaining equipment; increases yields, and also contributes to the development of agricultural land in areas remote from infrastructure and in difficult climatic conditions.

FUNCTIONAL

  • Versatility, modularity, platform independence
  • The ability to check and debug on a virtual landfill
  • Support any types of sensory and executive systems, both Russian and foreign production
  • Wide basic set of work scenarios Autonomous control in difficult conditions (night, smoke, etc.)
  • Portable remote control and task setting.
  • Can be used to control multiple robots.
  • On-Line dispatch center for controlling unmanned vehicles and controlling agroprocesses

UNIVERSALITY

The control system underlying «AgroBot» is universal and can be installed on any special equipment or tractor. Electronics, antennas, sensors and auxiliary equipment of “AgroBot” are located on a special case, which is installed instead of the usual cabin on a new or existing base. The AgroBot computer transmits information to the control center to the central computer, which can monitor the simultaneous operation of several dozen units of equipment.
